The Sudbury Branch of The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association host an annual “Ultimate Dream Home” Giveaway contest and due to Covid needed to drastically improve their website this year more than ever. They needed to appeal to a wider audience across ontario versus just the Sudbury market. They also needed analytics to work with their multiple advertising campaigns to see which was the most effective
Originally their in-house designer was to produce the website design for my team to develop. Unfortunately his design was complex and not easily made responsive. We ended up having to create a new design from his graphics and apply a more modern design approach while staying in the requirements from the Ontario Gaming Commission.
After many revisions we gained approval of the design from the client’s close eye and developed the website. I also had to integrate & manage google tag manager/analytics to appease the needs of the outsourced marketing teams and manage the VPS.
CHHA Sudbury needed a refresh on their website since their current website is dated and doesn't represent them well. I decided to take the opportunity in my Web III school course to create a responsive landing page that I felt displayed the CHHA Sudbury Branch well.
After Designing and Developing my responsive webpage I pitched it to CHHA sudbury. Unfortunately they were not a fan of the direction, however I still ended up designing a new 20+ page website for them under the specifications of their in-house designer.
